Mladen Lazarevic

Mladen Lazarevic is an experienced bioinformatics professional currently serving as the Director of Bioinformatics Technology at Velsera since January 2023. Previously, Mladen held various positions at Seven Bridges, including Associate Director of Bioinformatics, where responsibilities included improving processes, developing SOPs, and managing team development towards strategic objectives. Mladen has a strong background in leading bioinformatics teams, project management, and educational roles, including teaching positions at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and the Faculty of Mathematics in Belgrade. Earlier experience includes roles at NovelIC as a Junior Signal Processing and Embedded Software Engineer and an internship at Bosch in data science. Mladen holds a Master's Degree in Signals and Systems and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Belgrade.
