Thomas Scott

Thomas Scott, CPA, currently serves as the Senior Director of Financial Reporting and FP&A at Velsera, where responsibilities include managing consolidated accounting for three multinational entities and leading the FP&A team to ensure strategic financial alignment. Previously, Thomas held various leadership roles at American Electric Power, including Director of Reporting Transformation, where business processes were transformed through technology and automation, and Director of Investor Relations, focusing on communication with analysts. Earlier experience at KPMG included positions as an Audit Senior Associate and Senior Accountant, involved in executing audits and managing financial reporting processes. Thomas holds a Master’s in Accounting, Audit, and a Bachelor’s in Accounting from Michigan State University.
