Evi Kouvela

Evi Kouvela has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Evi started their career in 2005 as a Research Assistant at NCSR "DEMOKRITOS", where they worked in the Institute of Microelectronics, specifically in the optical laser laboratory Si-Ge.

In 2007, they joined Upstream as a Junior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they analyzed requirements, wrote test cases, executed tests, and documented defects. Evi quickly progressed to the role of Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer, where they continued to contribute to the testing and quality assurance process. Later on, they became the QA Leader, responsible for scoping and prioritizing activities, managing delivery schedules, and designing new processes for continuous improvement.

In 2016, Evi moved to INTRASOFT International, where they served as the Senior Quality and Project Governance Manager. Their responsibilities included managing corporate policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, maintaining and improving the organization's Integrated Management System, and organizing internal audits.

Most recently, Evi joined Velti in 2018 as the Head of Quality & Product Management. In this role, they are responsible for developing the QA strategy and framework, driving improvement in the QA team's agile testing capabilities, and managing quality project management for the organization.

Evi Kouvela holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Total Quality Management from the University of the West of Scotland. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electronic Engineering from the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. Currently, Evi is a PhD candidate at NTUA, specializing in Quality Management.

In addition to their formal education, Evi Kouvela has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional expertise.
