Michael Economidis

Michael Economidis has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael started their career in 1999 at Bell Atlantic - Yellow Pages - Greece, where they worked as a Graphic Designer and eventually became a Creative Director for major accounts. In 2002, they moved to Yellow Pages (Xrisos Odigos) as a Graphic Designer until 2005. In 2006, they co-founded CDit Yourself & CDA (Custom Digital Applications), where they held the roles of Co-founder, Creative Director, and Team Leader of the Web & mobile applications development team until 2011. Michael then worked as a Freelancer for WillSee. from 2013 to 2019. Their recent experience includes working at Velti as a UI UX Designer from 2019 to 2021 and as a UI Designer/Motion Graphics & Production at their Digital department from 2020 to the present.

Michael Economidis has a diverse education history spanning several years. In 2021, they pursued various courses from artheroes.co, focusing on 3D modeling and character design using Zbrush. Michael also received character mentorship in Zbrush and Marmoset. Additionally, in the same year, they completed a course on digital painting for characters, specifically color and light techniques using Photoshop and Procreate, from Domestika.org.

In 2020 and 2021, Michael enrolled in a course at domestika.org, where they learned realistic portrait techniques with graphite pencil, emphasizing face anatomy and design.

To enhance their skills in animation and special effects, Michael attended a seminar in 2019 at Invelop Skills, which covered animation, interactive technology, video graphics, and special effects.

In 2016, they participated in Google Adwords and Double Click workshops at Infocom - Social Media World.

Michael pursued their interest in web development by obtaining a professional certificate in conception de sites et administration from Conservatoire National des Arts et Métiers in 2001 and 2002.

Michael started their educational journey in graphic design and fine arts at the Mac & Parsers Institute of Graphic Design and Fine Arts from 1994 to 1997, where they earned their bachelor's degree in computer graphics and graphic design.

In 1991 and 1993, Michael attended the 4th Technical School, specializing in classic graphic design and typography.
