Tyler Moersch

Tyler Moersch is a seasoned professional in materials chemistry and innovation, currently serving as a Lead Specialist in Radical Innovation and New Business Development at VELUX since April 2017, where responsibilities include driving impactful innovation within building experiments. Tyler has held several key roles at VELUX, emphasizing technology scouting, commercialization of advanced technologies in fenestration, and fostering sustainable performance. Previous experience includes positions as Coating Process Manager at Tru Vue and Materials Scientist at Ebatco, along with academic roles at Harvey Mudd College and Pomona College, focusing on advanced materials and chemical sciences. Tyler holds a PhD in Materials Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from Claremont McKenna College.
