Paul Bonner

Paul Bonner is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in legal marketing and business development. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Marketing at Venable LLP since October 2014, Paul directs a team of nearly 30 legal marketing experts focused on branding, strategic communication, events, and public relations. Prior roles include Director of Marketing at Paul Bonner Consulting and Firmwide Director of Business Development at Haynes and Boone, LLP, where Paul collaborated with leadership to enhance marketing strategies. Earlier positions at Ballard Spahr LLP, Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich, LLP, and Motient equipped Paul with skills in strategic planning, competitive intelligence, and client-focused marketing. Paul holds a JD from Emory University School of Law and an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, alongside a BA from Wesleyan University.
