Florin Lazurca

Florin Lazurca has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Florin is currently working as the Head of Technical Marketing at Venafi since February 2022. Prior to this, Florin spent a significant portion of their career at Citrix, where they held various roles. Florin served as the Senior Technical Marketing Manager for Security from August 2015 to February 2022, where they were responsible for strategy, thought leadership, and sales engagement. Florin also served as a Networking Sales Engineer, Senior Manager from October 2013 to August 2015, leading a team of technical sales resources. Before that, Florin worked as a Senior Architect and Demo Center Architect at Citrix, focusing on designing and deploying demo environments and driving awareness for Citrix products. Florin also worked as a Principal Consultant and Senior Consultant at Citrix, leading consulting projects and implementing virtualization technologies for enterprise customers worldwide. Prior to joining Citrix, Florin worked as a Project Engineer at SilverSky from April 2005 to June 2006. Florin began their career in the US Army, serving as a Specialist E-4 from March 1998 to March 2006.

Florin Lazurca earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Central Florida, where they studied from 1998 to 2002. In addition, they hold various certifications, including nShield Certified Systems Engineer from Thales, CCA-N from Citrix, CCNA from Cisco, CCP-M from Citrix, CCP-N from Citrix, CISSP from (ISC)², CompTIA A+, CompTIA N+, and CompTIA S+.
