Simon Mullis

Simon Mullis has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Simon began their career at Nettec plc as the Manager of Technology & Hosting. In 1999, they joined iWeb Ltd as a Senior Technical Consultant for EMEA. In 2001, they became the Head of IT & CISO at Interactive1 Ltd, where they were responsible for all technical direction in terms of infrastructure & IT for the Group. In 2002, they moved to Equinox Solutions Ltd as a Network & Systems Development Consultant and continued in this role until the company was acquired by Synetrix Holdings Ltd in 2004. Simon then moved to Synetrix Ltd as a Network & Systems Development Consultant, where they designed and implemented Public Sector enterprise scale projects. In 2006, they joined Juniper Networks as a Consulting Engineer and eventually became a Senior Engineer in the Juniper Advanced Technical Assistance Centre in Amsterdam. In 2012, they joined FireEye, Inc. as the Global Technical Lead of Strategic Alliances in the Office of the CTO. Simon then moved to Palo Alto Networks in 2016 as the Global Technical Lead of Global Systems Integrators at the Virtual CISO Team. In 2018, they became the Director of Technical Account Management at Tanium. Finally, in 2021, they joined Venari Security as the Chief Technology Officer, where they are responsible for making the encrypted world more secure and compliant.

Simon Mullis studied Chemistry at the University of Sussex from 1993 to 1996, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc). Simon also attended Université Laval in 1992-1993, studying Français pour non Francophone.
