Ben Coapes

Ben Coapes has extensive work experience in the coatings industry. Ben started their career at Johnson Matthey in 2002 as a Development Chemist and then joined AWE in 2004 as a Senior Scientist. In 2008, they became an R&D Manager/Principal Scientist at Heraeus, where they stayed until 2014. Ben then worked as a Consultant Process Specialist at Sterlite Technologies Limited from 2015 to 2016. Ben joined Huntsman Corporation in 2016 as a Product Development Lead before moving to Venator Materials Plc in 2017. At Venator Materials, they initially served as a Coatings Products and Applications Manager and later took on the role of Innovation Centre Manager.

Ben Coapes completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Oxford from 1995 to 1999, majoring in Chemistry. Ben then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemistry at Durham University from 1999 to 2002. Additionally, Ben later obtained a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. The start and end years for the Master's degree are unknown.
