Dr. Thomas Emmerich Maldonado

Dr. Thomas Emmerich Maldonado has a diverse work experience. Dr. Thomas started their career as a Sales Assistant at Media-Saturn in November 2007 and worked there until May 2010. Dr. Thomas then joined Ruhr-Universität Bochum as a Student Research Assistant from January 2010 to September 2012. After that, they served as a Research Associate at the same university from October 2012 to March 2016.

In 2016, Dr. Maldonado joined SCHOTT as a Project Manager for Development of Colors and Surfaces. Dr. Thomas held this role until September 2018.

Currently, Dr. Maldonado is working at Venator Materials Plc. Dr. Thomas joined the company in October 2018 as a Process Scientist for Sulfate Technology and later became a Product & Application Manager for Active Materials in January 2020. Dr. Thomas is still employed in this position.

Dr. Thomas Emmerich Maldonado earned their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemistry from Ruhr University Bochum in 2010. Dr. Thomas then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Chemistry at the same institution from 2010 to 2012. During this time, they also engaged in a research project at Universidade Estadual de Maringá in 2011. Following their master's degree, Dr. Maldonado went on to obtain their Doctor (Ph.D.) degree in Industrial Chemistry from Ruhr University Bochum, completing their studies in 2016.
