Bayden McCallum

Bayden McCallum has a diverse work experience in the digital advertising and media industry. Bayden started their career as an intern at Initiative in 2013 and later worked as an Investment and Implementation Executive, where they were responsible for managing the Hyundai account and training assistants. Bayden also handled planning quarterly budgets, trafficking digital campaigns, and coordinating with creative agencies and media representatives. After leaving Initiative in 2016, Bayden joined Blue 449 as a Communications Executive on a fixed-term contract. Bayden then pursued their passion for surfing by working as a Surf Instructor at Wavy Surf Camp in Portugal before returning to Australia and joining Atomic 212º Group as a Digital Account Manager. During their time at Atomic 212º Group, Bayden successfully managed digital direct media buys for various clients and led the digital advertising for the release of Red Dead Redemption 2 in Australia. Bayden continued their career at The One Centre as a Digital Account Manager, working on campaigns in the digital media space and providing client management and communication. Bayden later joined AKQA Media, where they served as a Digital Manager for IKON and then as a Digital Manager, responsible for various digital activities such as paid search and social media advertising. Bayden is currently working as a Senior Sales Manager at Venatus, a global advertising technology platform focused on gaming and entertainment.

Bayden McCallum obtained a Bachelor of Business degree in Marketing/Advertising from Charles Sturt University, where they studied from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their High School Certificate at Mater Maria Catholic College from 2003 to 2008. In addition to their formal education, Bayden has obtained various certifications in digital marketing, including Ads Manager Certification from Snap Inc., Edge Academy Certification in Data-Driven Planning and Marketing Foundations from The Trade Desk, and Campaign Manager Certification and Video Ads Certification from Google Digital Academy (Skillshop).
