Hal Wang has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Hǎi-Liàng "Hal" started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer at Qimonda and then worked as a Software Engineer at IBM from 2009 to 2011. Hǎi-Liàng "Hal" pursued a PhD at Xi'an Jiaotong University from 2011 to 2015, during which they developed web scraping and SOCKS client packages.

Hǎi-Liàng "Hal" Wáng completed their education in the field of engineering and information technology. Hǎi-Liàng "Hal" obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Information Engineering from Xi'an Jiaotong University, where they studied from 2000 to 2004.
