Benita Weaver

System Engineer/data Engineer at Vencore, Inc.

Benita Weaver has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Benita began their career at SAIC in 1997 as an Application System Analyst, where they assessed business requirements and created logical data models for various INS applications. Benita then moved on to Schafer Corporation in 2003, where they served as a Systems Analyst/Team Lead, providing project leadership and overseeing the interPRO Architecture Tool team.

In 2005, Benita joined BAE Systems, Inc. as a Data Engineer, performing analysis on Marine Corps data and creating logical data models using Telelogic Systems Architect. Benita later joined Arcfield in 2006 as a Project Manager, and concurrently held the role of System Engineer/Data Engineer at Vencore Inc., where they provided support, managed a team of Systems Integrators, and led in-house development efforts.

Benita's most recent position was at Peraton, where they worked as a Project Manager from 2006 to 2021. Throughout their career, Benita has demonstrated expertise in project management, data analysis, and system integration.

Benita Weaver completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Administration with a focus on Information Systems from Old Dominion University, from 1992 to 1996. Benita then pursued further education and obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Information Management from Marymount University, from 2001 to 2004. In addition to their degrees, Benita obtained a certification in Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute Certification Program in January 2013.
