Zdeněk Horák

Zdeněk Horák is a Senior Software Engineer at Vendavo, Inc. since August 2011, specializing in high-performance real-time analytics databases and query engines, utilizing technologies such as Java, Oracle In-Memory, SAP HANA, and Amazon Athena. As an Independent Mobile Apps Developer since April 2015, Zdeněk has successfully implemented and sold IoT-focused applications on Google Play, with one application ranking among the TOP 10 worldwide selling paid applications for over two years. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Developer at Koncept Hradec Králové, s.r.o., where Zdeněk created complex information systems for Slovak and Czech Insurers’ Bureaus and handled various application development projects. Zdeněk's earlier roles included external developer positions focused on information systems for hospitals and universities between 2001 and 2007. Zdeněk holds a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Applied Informatics from the University of Hradec Králové.
