Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson is an experienced media professional with a robust background in content development and public relations. Currently serving as the Content and Public Relations Manager at Vendi since August 2022, Mike previously held the position of Evening News Anchor and Special Projects Reporter at WKBT News 8 Now from April 2004 to May 2022, where responsibilities included leading editorial strategy and managing multimedia content across various platforms. Earlier in Mike's career, roles included Weekend News Anchor/Reporter at WXOW News 19, Weekend News Producer at WKOW-ABC 27, and an Investigative News Intern at Today's TMJ4. Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earned in May 1999.
