Pedro Urdaneta

Pedro Urdaneta is an accomplished Senior Partner at LEĜA Abogados, where responsibilities include co-heading the Corporate/M&A and Banking & Finance departments and serving on both the Management and Innovation Committees. Urdaneta also serves as President of Venecápital, helping to develop the private capital industry in Venezuela, and is a Board Member of Dividendo Voluntario para la Comunidad, providing legal advice for its Food Bank initiative. An experienced educator, Urdaneta has held adjunct and guest professor roles at Universidad Metropolitana and IESA, respectively, focusing on various areas of law. Prior roles include Non-Executive Director positions at BBR Capital and DATOS GROUP, co-managing partner at Imery Urdaneta, and legal practice experience at Torres Plaz & Araujo and Arnold & Porter. Urdaneta holds a Master of Laws from Cornell Law School and a law degree from UCAB.
