Jennifer Ogren

Jennifer Ogren has accumulated extensive experience in the legal field over the years. Jennifer currently serves as the Vice President and Senior Counsel at Venerable since September 2019. Previously, they held the position of Senior Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Voya Financial - Insurance and Retirement from December 2011 to July 2019, where they managed the U.S. Corporate Governance Unit. Prior to that, Jennifer worked as a Corporate Counsel at Syngenta Seeds, Inc. from March 2007 to December 2011. In 2006, they were a Contract Attorney at Robert Half Legal before transitioning to become an employee at Syngenta Seeds, Inc. As Assistant General Counsel at Metris Companies Inc. from September 1998 to March 2006, they oversaw internal audit services and provided legal advice to management and board committees. Additionally, they held positions as a Corporate Counsel at Access Financial Lending Corp., Fidelity Acceptance Corporation, and Senior Attorney at ITT Consumer Financial Corporation. Jennifer started their legal career as an Attorney at Law at Babcock, Locher, Neilson & Mannella law firm in March 1985.
