Donavan Brown

Donavan Brown has had a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Donavan currently works as a Senior Community Manager at Q&A since December 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Head of Artist Relations & Community at RYSE UP Inc. from August 2017 to June 2021. In this role, they created and maintained a network of 30k users and 150 key influencers, developed plans for artists, and implemented an intake system for new artists.

Donavan also worked as a Producer at Wyldside Media from January 2019 to January 2020, where they spearheaded production and casting of network shows and leveraged social media and artist networks to find talent. Donavan was also responsible for interviewing candidates and creating pitch proposals.

Before that, Donavan founded and served as the Chief Creative Director at EVOL MUSIC from January 2016 to January 2019, managing the growth and development of a domestic and international roster of artists. Donavan was the key point person for all artist relations engagements.

Before that, Donavan was a Territorial Sales Manager at Altria Group and Distribution Company for a brief period in 2012, managing a territory of retail accounts and introducing new promotions. Donavan also briefly worked as a Sales Representative at LMDK Brown Lawn Furniture and Decorations in 2011, managing transactions and expanding clientele.

Lastly, Donavan gained experience as a Camp Counselor at Southfield Parks and Recreation Day Camps during the summer of 2011, managing activities, finances, and communicating with parents/guardians.
