Ben Steinberg is an experienced professional in energy security and policy, currently serving as Executive Vice President at Venn Strategies since October 2018. From January 2010 to October 2018, Ben held various senior roles at the U.S. Department of Energy, including Senior Advisor in the Office of Cybersecurity, overseeing significant projects related to energy emergency preparedness and cybersecurity. Ben also directed initiatives on global energy markets and managed budgetary and operational functions within the Office of Energy Policy and Systems Analysis. Previous positions include Senior Program Manager at the Executive Office of the President, where Ben managed federal sustainability programs, and Project Director for Team Boston at the Solar Decathlon. Ben holds a degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
