Kate Marks

Kate Marks is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in energy policy and cybersecurity. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at Venn Strategies since May 2022, Kate previously held multiple significant roles at the U.S. Department of Energy from May 2014 to April 2022, including Deputy Assistant Secretary and Director positions focused on cybersecurity and emergency response. Prior experience includes leadership roles at the National Association of State Energy Officials, the National Conference of State Legislatures, and a solid foundation in energy law and policy from the University of Denver's Sturm College of Law, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from James Madison University.
