Karina Schnittker

Karina Schnittker is an experienced scientist currently serving as the technical lead for companion diagnostic assay product development at Ventana Medical Systems since September 2017, focusing on cancerous indications. Prior to this role, Karina developed in-vitro diagnostic assays for cancer biomarkers at Ventana Medical Systems from October 2014 to January 2017. Karina's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, where research on protein folding of key metabolic regulators was conducted as part of a graduate program from August 2010 to August 2014, following a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from The University of Texas at El Paso obtained in 2010.
