Lesley Schumack, MS, is a Senior Scientist at Ventana Medical Systems since 2008, specializing in the development of reagents for the leading automated histology assay company globally. Expertise includes conducting research on key steps of immunohistochemistry (IHC) and in situ hybridization (ISH) histology assays, as well as overseeing reagent new-product transfers, product launches, and providing on-market support. Prior experience includes serving as Coordinator of Laboratory Operations at Nova Southeastern University from 2000 to 2006, managing laboratory activities, and as Quality Control Manager at Andrx Pharmaceuticals from 1994 to 1999, where responsibilities involved establishing and managing both Analytical Research and Quality Control Laboratories. Lesley Schumack holds a Master’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Manitoba and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from The University of Winnipeg.
