Tim Sticklinski

Sales and Business Development at Ventana Micro Systems

Tim Sticklinski has over 30 years of experience in sales and business development. Tim began their career in 1983 as a Sales Manager at AMD. In 1987, they joined Micro Linear as a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA. Tim was responsible for building semiconductors for the storage and networking market. In 1994, they became a Manufacturers Sales Representative at Phase II Technical Sales, where they were a top sales producer for Symbios Logic (LSI Logic), Sony, and Dallas Semiconductor. In 1999, they co-founded and became President of Five Nines Technical, a rep company that grew sales from $0 to $200M in three years. In 2005, they became Director of Sales for the Western US at Myricom, a company that provided extreme-performance 10-Gigabit Ethernet products. In 2010, they were appointed Sr. Director of Sales at Applied Micro (AMCC), a semiconductor company providing both processor and connectivity solutions for the Datacenter. In 2015, they took on the role of Vice President of Sales North America at Applied Micro, where they continued to lead the sales effort for 64 bit ARM. In 2018, they were appointed Vice President Of Worldwide Sales at Ampere, where they were responsible for designing the future of hyperscale cloud computing with its 64-bit designed Arm server processor architecture. Finally, in 2021, they joined Ventana Micro Systems as Sales and Business Development.

Tim Sticklinski obtained a BSEE from Michigan State University, followed by an MBA from Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business. Tim also attended Santa Clara University, though they did not receive a degree.
