David Crowther

David Crowther has an extensive work experience spanning various roles and companies. David is currently working as the Group General Counsel at Venterra Group since April 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Consultant at Peerpoint from January 2023 to April 2023.

From 2015 to 2023, David held the position of Deputy General Counsel and SVP Corporate & Governance at Paysafe Group. In this role, they had a broad remit and experience in corporate, commercial, regulatory, treasury, tax, litigation, employment, IP, and data privacy. David also had responsibility for corporate transactions such as IPO/listing, M&A, and financing transactions.

Before joining Paysafe Group, David worked as a Consultant at LOD (Lawyers On Demand) and Peerpoint from 2015 to 2019.

David started their career in 2004 at BP, where they held various roles including Legal Manager Group Regulatory & Corporate and Senior Counsel M&A. During their nine years at BP, they managed the company's regulatory compliance during the Deepwater Horizon crisis and was involved in managing legal risks in external stakeholder engagements.

David began their career as a Solicitor at Linklaters in 1998, specializing in tax law and providing support for structured products and corporate matters. David also worked in Linklaters' Singapore office, focusing on an Indonesian restructuring deal.

David Crowther attended Solihull School for an unknown duration, where they did not earn a degree or specify a field of study. Later, they pursued a degree in Law at the University of Oxford, where they earned an MA.
