Vera Almeida

Vera Almeida has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Vera is currently serving as the Head of Treasury at Ventient Energy since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Iberwind as the Responsible for the Financial Management and Treasury Department from November 2019 to March 2022.

Their previous experience includes working at Triodos Bank España, where they held various roles in the renewable energy sector. From January 2015 to October 2019, they served as the Head of Department for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency. Before that, they were a Renewable Energy Coordinator from January 2013 to January 2015 and a Renewable Energy Analyst from August 2010 to January 2013.

Vera's earlier career includes positions at Whirlpool Corporation, where they worked as a Business Analyst from February 2008 to October 2009 and as a Trainee from February 2007 to January 2008. Prior to that, they worked at Ecopilhas as a Direction Assistant from June 2004 to January 2007.

Vera Almeida's education journey began in 1998 when they enrolled at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Vera pursued a field of study in Environmental Engineering and completed their studies in 2003. Following this, in 2007, they attended ISCTE - Instituto Universitário de Lisboa, where they obtained an Executive Master's degree in Business Management. Vera then pursued further education in the field of Renewable Energy at Universidad Europea from 2009 to 2010, earning a Master's degree. Their education did not stop there as they enrolled in the IEB and completed the Programa Avanzado de Financiación e Inversión en Energías Alternativas: un Enfoque Internacional in 2014, focusing on Financing Renewable Energy.
