Jennifer Butts

Jennifer Butts, CISM has extensive experience in information security and compliance. Jennifer'smost recent role was as the Vice President of Information Security at Ventiv Technology since October 2022. Prior to that, they worked at PowerPlan, Inc. where they held various positions including Director of Information Security & Compliance, Senior Manager of Cloud Security & Operations, Senior Manager of Customer Operations, Manager of Customer Success, and Team Lead of Support. At PowerPlan, Jennifer successfully built an Information Security Management System and led the company in passing SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type 2 audits. Jennifer also gained executive support for information security and implemented security controls. Before their time at PowerPlan, Jennifer worked as a Senior Consultant at Information Intellect, where they implemented tax compliance and planning software for telecom and utility companies. Jennifer also worked as a Consultant at Utilities International, Inc. and as a Business Analyst at Wachovia Bank.

Jennifer Butts, CISM obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they completed between 1995 and 1999. Additionally, they obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in June 2022.
