Paul Emanuels

Paul Emanuels currently serves as the Vice President of Consumer and Mortgage Lending at Ventura County Credit Union, a position held since October 2024. Prior to this role, Paul held multiple leadership positions, including Vice President of Lending and Collections at Valley First Credit Union from January 2007 to October 2024, where significant enhancements in loan origination and pricing strategies were achieved. Paul's earlier experience includes serving as Vice President of Consumer Lending at The Golden 1 Credit Union, where new underwriting guidelines led to reduced loan losses, and implementation of innovative loan application systems. As Assistant Vice President of Lending at Meriwest Credit Union, Paul improved loan processing procedures, enhancing overall member experience. Paul's career in lending began in sales and management roles at Competix and Digital Insight. Paul holds an educational background from UCLA and Western Cuna Management School.
