James Walker

James Walker is an experienced athletic professional currently serving as the Athletic Director and Head Baseball Coach at Ventura College since August 2015. James also holds the position of Professional Expert in Baseball, focusing on pitching and catching. James Walker has a strong background in education as a substitute teacher for the Ventura Unified School District and has held various athletic roles, including Director of Player Development for So Cal Halos. James's previous experience includes serving as Athletic Director at Santa Clara High School, where James managed a 15-sport program, and roles at CSU Monterey Bay, where James was involved in coaching, recruiting, and program development. James Walker's educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science and a Master of Education in Sports Management and Leadership.
