Marieanne Quiroz

Marieanne Quiroz is an experienced communications professional with a strong background in public information and community outreach. Currently serving as the Director of Communications and Public Information Officer at Ventura Unified School District since March 2019, Marieanne develops and implements comprehensive communication strategies that engage students, staff, families, and the community. Prior experience includes roles as Communications Coordinator and Community Outreach Specialist for the City of Ventura, where Marieanne focused on marketing and public relations efforts, and various positions at California State University, Northridge, including Interim Associate Director of Student Outreach and Recruitment. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from California State University, Northridge.
