Janice Richards

Janice Richards has over 20+ years of experience in operations for small and large teams. Janice began their career in 2004 as the Managing Director at Ventura Web Design & Marketing, where they worked closely with the founder and CEO to establish best practices and maximize the performance of the team. In 2014, they were elected President of the Nevada State Apartment Association. From 2016 to 2017, Janice served as Regional Vice President, Asset Management at The Picerne Group, overseeing properties in Phoenix, Denver, and Las Vegas. Janice was also responsible for overseeing 3rd party management groups and construction/renovation projects. From 2017 to 2023, Janice served as Senior Vice President at ResProp Management, where they had oversight of all operations of up to 14,000 units in Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Colorado. Janice also worked on converting management platforms from vertical owner-operated to third party management. From 2000 to 2016, Janice worked as Regional Manager at Camden Property Trust, overseeing regional office, District Managers and all aspects of operations for Camden/Oasis communities in Las Vegas Valley. In 2023, Janice began their current role as Senior Vice President of Operations at Independence Realty Trust Inc.

Janice Richards began their educational journey in 1998 when they attended Upper Iowa University and obtained an Arts Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2000, they transferred to the University of Phoenix and earned a Buisiness Administration degree in Economics two years later. Janice also attended University of Upper Iowa, Upper Iowa University, and Upper Iowa University, respectively, but did not obtain any degrees.
