Joshua Keilty M.ed.

Joshua Keilty M.Ed. is an experienced educator with a focus on science instruction and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Science Teacher at Venture Academies since August 2022, Joshua previously held positions as a High School Science Teacher and Chair at Walkertown High School, where efforts were made to invigorate the curriculum through hands-on learning approaches. Joshua's leadership experience includes serving as Director of Upper School at Summit School, coaching a team of educators, and guiding the revision of social-emotional and service-learning curricula. Prior roles at Alexander Dawson School at Rainbow Mountain included Director of Experiential Education and Head of Middle School, where Joshua developed innovative educational programs focused on sustainability and interdisciplinary curriculum integration. Early career experience includes teaching at Horace Mann School's John Dorr Nature Lab. Joshua holds a Master of Education in Secondary Biological Science and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature.
