Dr. Barbara Kennedy has extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as the Dean of Students and Associate Provost for Titusville and eLearning at Eastern Florida State College since August 2004. Additionally, Dr. Kennedy has been an Associate Professor of Psychology at Brevard Community College since August 1999, teaching various psychology courses both in-person and online. Previous experience includes serving as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Indialantic Psychiatry from May 2000 to July 2007. Dr. Kennedy holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) from the University of Florida and a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Webster University, along with a degree in Theatre Performance from Kentucky Wesleyan College. Currently, Dr. Kennedy is pursuing further education in Higher Education Administration at the University of Florida College of Education.
