Richard Swann

Richard Swann is an experienced finance professional currently serving as a Director at the British Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (BVCA) since March 2023. Richard has been a Council Member at the University of Birmingham since September 2018 and has held the position of Partner and Chair of the Investment Committee at Inflexion Private Equity since November 2008. Prior to this, Richard worked as an Investment Director at Lloyds Development Capital from September 2005 to July 2008 and as a Partner at Deloitte from July 2002 to June 2005. Richard began a lengthy tenure as a Partner at Arthur Andersen from 1988 to 2002. Educational credentials include a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Birmingham and an MBA in Business Administration and Management from the University of Warwick - Warwick Business School.
