Daniel Downey

Daniel Downey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in leadership and strategic planning within various organizations. Currently serving as the Global Outreach Pastor at Venture Christian Church since March 2013, Downey previously held the role of President at Makes Sense Consulting from January 2012 to January 2013. From October 1997 to December 2011, Downey was a Team Leader and Regional Director for the International Leadership Team at UWM, where responsibilities included managing multicultural teams and collaborating with various stakeholders to address social issues. Early career roles include Director of International and Domestic Programs at South Hills Community Church, Marketing Director at San Andreas Environmental, Assistant Marketing Director at San Jose Symphony, and Executive Assistant to the District Manager at the Internal Revenue Service. Downey's educational background includes a Master's degree in Intercultural Studies from Western Seminary and a Bachelor's degree in Business Finance from San Jose State University.
