Leigh McCarty

Leigh McCarty is an experienced education and counseling professional currently serving as a Photography Associate at Venture Church since August 2022. Previously, Leigh has worked as a Professional School Counselor and CTE Counselor for the Perry County School District from August 2020 to the present, as well as a Professional School Counselor at Laurel High School from June 2018 to June 2020. Prior experience includes serving as a CTE Counselor for the Laurel High School Career and Technical Center within the Laurel School District from July 2008 to May 2018. Leigh holds a Master's degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Mississippi State University, an Educational Specialist's Degree in Instructional Leadership from William Carey University, and another Educational Specialist's Degree in Counselor Education/School Counseling and Guidance Services from Mississippi State University - Meridian. Additionally, Leigh earned a Bachelor's degree in Educational Psychology from Mississippi State University.
