Mr. Wong Chee Kheong joined the Group in May 2003 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in January 2022.
During his stint at Venture, Mr. Wong has considerable experience across diverse business sectors and functions, from leading product development and manufacturing to overseeing the Group’s strategic procurement and IT activities. Prior to his new appointment, Mr. Wong has been overseeing the Group’s Healthcare and Wellness Business, Global Supply Base Management and IT operations. In his COO position, he will take on the additional role of managing all the Business Heads of the Group to continuously strive for operational excellence and business growth.
Working as a team and under the guidance and stewardship of the Executive Chairman and the Board, the CEO and Mr. Wong will work collaboratively and purposefully to develop and implement growth strategies in selected emerging technology domains and dynamic ecosystems of interests to deliver value to all stakeholders.
Before joining Venture, Mr. Wong held a variety of different management positions in Agilent Technologies, Hewlett Packard and work stints in Unisys Corporation and Chartered Industries Singapore.
Mr. Wong graduated with a First Class Honours in Electrical Engineering from the National University of Singapore.
