Simone Berti

Simone Berti has extensive work experience in the engineering and energy sectors. Simone started their career as a Process Engineer at Eni in 1998. From 2001 to 2003, they worked as a Project Engineer at SOFTEC-Impianti. Simone then moved on to Teseco, where they worked as a Project Manager from 2003 to 2005. At GE, they held various roles including Engineering Outsourcing Leader from 2005 to 2007, Integration Leader for Turboexpander products from 2008 to 2010, and Engineering Manager for String Test Projects from 2010 to 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they worked as the R&D Programs Portfolio Director at GE Oil & Gas. Simone later joined Baker Hughes in 2016 as an Engineering Project Director, responsible for the design cycle and technical team supervision of a major LNG plant project. Currently, Simone is the Director of Owner Furnished Equipment Engineering at Venture Global LNG.

Simone Berti obtained their Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Universita' degli Studi di Pisa, where they studied from 1990 to 1997. In terms of additional certifications, they are a certified Project Director at IPMA (International Project Management Association), having obtained the Italy_Certified_Project_Director (IPMA Level A) certification in October 2020, and previously a Certified Project Director IPMA level A in September 2015.
