Michal Garcarz is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and security. Currently serving as a Technology Advisor at Venture Guides and a Distinguished Engineer at Elisity, Michal is also a co-founder and investor at sec.one. Previously, Michal held significant roles at Cisco, including Cisco ML Engineering Technical Leader, Managed Security Services Architect, and Security Operations Center Technical Leader. Michal began the career as a Security Specialist at the Institute of Microelectronics and Optoelectronics at Warsaw University of Technology. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in research on DDoS attacks and defense from Warsaw University of Technology, and a high school degree specializing in Electronics with Computer Systems from Technical School of Electronics.
