Valerie (Hill) Beichner has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. They currently serve as the President & CEO of Venture Outdoors since October 2019. Prior to that, they worked as the President and CEO of elan Evolutions, a change-agent organization, from January 2014 to March 2023. Valerie also served as the Executive Director of Friends of the Riverfront from January 2018 to October 2019 and as the Director of Operations and Analytics at Conservation Consultants, Inc. from February 2017 to December 2017. Before that, they worked as a Virtual Directory Intern at the International Leadership Association, focusing on managing and updating an online educational program directory. Valerie held the position of Vice President of Development at Green Building Alliance from May 2008 to November 2012.
Valerie (Hill) Beichner completed a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership at Robert Morris University from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Political Science from PennWest Clarion between 2000 and 2004.
In addition to their formal education, Valerie holds a Level 2 Kayak Instructor Certification from the American Canoe Association, which they obtained in May 2022.
