Clay Mahaffey

Clay Mahaffey has a long and varied work experience, beginning in 1974 with Exxon Chemical as a Market Development Manager, Sales Executive, and Engineer. In 1986 they joined Acquivest Group, Inc. as Vice President, where they developed an acquisition program targeting the chemical industry and developed a strategy, identified and contacted prospects, negotiated letter of intent, and identified and introduced equity investor. In 1989 they became International Business Development Manager at Uniroyal Chemical. In 1995 they became Vice President at RTC International. In 2000 they joined Investors Capital Management as Vice President, where they held a Series 65 license. In 2014 they became Partner at C.W.Brown and Company. Since 2015 they have been Manager at Calaf, LLC. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2015, they were President at Venture Research LLC, where they conducted equity research on micro-cap stocks, oil and gas, and China, as well as Alternative Public Offerings, and received a 5 Star Rating from Yahoo Finance.

Clay Mahaffey received their MBA from The Wharton School, where they were a Research Associate in the Management and Technology Program. Clay also holds a BS in Chemical Engineering from Louisiana State University.
