Shelly Yellen

Shelly Yellen is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the steel and manufacturing industries. Currently serving as Vice President of Venture Steel Inc. since May 2017, Yellen previously founded and led Yellen Metals, LLC from July 2011 to May 2017, specializing in carbon and stainless steel distribution for customers across the U.S. and Canada. Yellen co-owned and operated Mr. Fox Tire Company from September 2007 to December 2012 and was the President/Owner of Lancaster Steel Service Company, Inc. from August 1991 to October 2006, managing a workforce of approximately 150 employees. Earlier career experience includes serving as a Senior Financial Analyst at Fannie Mae from August 1987 to July 1991, where responsibilities included managing tax-advantaged investments and providing financial reporting. Yellen holds an MBA in Finance from the Kogod School of Business at American University and a Bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland.
