Gabriella Chan

Gabriella is a lawyer, a scientist, educator, startup mentor, and entrepreneur. She founded Yocto Law Professional Corporation to provide IP management, commercialization, and corporate legal services to researchers, start-up ventures, established companies, and stakeholders in the life science (specifically biotechnology, nanotechnology, medical devices, and diagnostics) and the health science and health tech sectors in Ontario. In addition to practical industry experience as Vice President of Legal Affairs at a Toronto area nanotechnology company, Gabriella holds a doctorate (PhD) in molecular diagnostics and obtained further postdoctoral training in handheld diagnostic devices. Gabriella also earned a Regulatory Affairs Certificate for Medical Devices from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
