James Cloughley

James Cloughley is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the Founder of Fullest Potential, a fractional CTO and advisory company within Leisurerules Inc., focusing on Directive and non-Directive coaching. Cloughley holds the position of Executive in Residence at ventureLAB, a global community for hardware technology and enterprise software companies. Previously, as Divisional SVP of Software Engineering at EverCommerce, Cloughley successfully built a software team and launched a product within six months. Cloughley has held various leadership roles, including SVP and VP of Software Engineering at Joist, Chief Technical Officer at Microdea and ABS Systems Ltd., and has extensive experience in software engineering and product management from previous positions at Actuate and Longview Solutions Inc. Cloughley began their career as a Staff Technologist at World Wide Wave and holds a BMath in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Waterloo.
