David Powell

David Powell is an experienced professional currently serving as Enterprise CXM at Esusu, where the focus is on leveraging data to close the racial wealth gap and empower renters. As an inaugural hire for the Account Management team at Esusu, David is instrumental in establishing processes for scalability. David also works as a Scout for Sweater, a democratized venture fund, while contributing as a Tech Enthusiast and Writer for The Future Is Here, and advising various startups. Previous roles include Director of Business Development at ToJoy International Capital Corporation, where the emphasis was on US companies expanding internationally, particularly in HealthTech, EdTech, AR/VR, and robotics. David holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations from UMass Boston and has ongoing studies at Stanford University School of Engineering, alongside educational experiences at Hobart and William Smith Colleges and Hanoi University.
