Job description

The Head of Games is a key leadership role within the Game Operations department. This role is critical in building strong relationships with third-party gaming providers, managing budgets effectively, and ensuring high-quality content tailored to our brands and markets. The ideal candidate will lead, motivate, and develop their team while driving innovation and efficiency in content delivery and ensuring seamless integration processes while maximizing ROI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop the content strategy to align with business goals and market demands.

  • Ensure timely delivery of high-quality gaming content.

  • Search for and onboard new gaming studios and aggregators to meet evolving market needs.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party gaming providers.

  • Monitor market trends and adjust integrations to prioritize aggregators offering competitive revenue share rates.

  • Manage the content budget effectively.

  • Identify opportunities to maximize ROI across various initiatives.

  • Monitor rate changes and enable games from providers offering competitive revenue shares.

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the Game Operations team to achieve excellence in content creation and integration.

  • Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings to provide feedback and support.

  • Set clear KPIs and manage performance to achieve departmental goals.

  • Oversee the team’s daily activities and task allocation.

  • Identify and onboard new gaming studios and aggregators to meet market needs.

  • Negotiate contracts and manage agreements with third-party providers.

  • Renegotiate terms for existing deals to optimize outcomes.

  • Serve as the primary liaison between legal teams and providers.

  • Provide integration details and requirements to the casino team to ensure smooth operations.

  • Document and manage all agreement-related details.

  • Maintain accuracy in invoicing and manage payment processes.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in the iGaming industry in a similar role, with a focus on game integrations or content strategy.

  • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to manage contracts and build productive relationships with third-party providers.

  • Experience managing budgets and driving ROI for content initiatives.

  • Demonstrated success in leading and developing teams to achieve business objectives.

  • Familiarity with integration processes and technologies in the gaming industry.

  • Proficiency in using performance tracking tools and managing KPIs.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders effectively.

  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive and strategic approach to challenges.

  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • In-depth understanding of gaming content and market trends.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
