Shaheen Mamawala

Shaheen Mamawala, MPA, serves as the Director and Strategic Planning Lead - Growth Strategy at VentureWell, where responsibilities include partnering with the Executive Team on strategic planning, developing content for the Board of Directors, and hosting staff learning sessions. With previous roles at VentureWell as Director of Planning & Partnerships, Senior Development Officer, and a health policy advisor for the NYC Office of the Mayor, Mamawala has a strong background in public health policy and organizational growth. Experience at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and Teach For America further highlights skills in leadership development, grant management, and community engagement. Mamawala holds a Master of Public Administration degree from Baruch School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree from The College of New Jersey, along with diverse international experiences.
