Saimon Brum

Saimon Brum has a diverse work experience spanning various design roles. Their most recent position was as a UX/Product Designer at Venturus, where they worked on complex systems in the 4.0 industry, leading to significant improvements in production and reductions in SLA fines for customers. Prior to that, they served as a Design Ops Chapter Leader and Design Ops Chapter Apoio at the same company.

Before Venturus, Saimon worked as a Product and UX/UI Designer at DB2S - Signa Digital Health, where they contributed to the development of an omnichannel solution for oncological treatment. Saimon conducted user research, consolidated research data, and provided support to the CX team in creating personas and user journeys.

In addition, Saimon has experience as a Product Designer (UX/UI) Jr at Overa, where they were responsible for the entire design process of an organic producer management and ordering application. Saimon conducted initial research, interviews, and created personas and user journeys. Saimon also developed prototypes and a design system, and conducted usability tests.

Before their roles in the tech industry, Saimon worked as a 3D Artist freelancer focusing on advertising imagery, a Packaging Designer at Gráfica ANS, a Graphic Designer at SOGIPA, and an Internat That Design Company. Saimon also worked as a Freelance Professor at Universo Expandido Escola e Editora, an Art Finisher at Transa, and a Visual Designer at Farol Studio.

Saimon Brum's education history begins with their undergraduate studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul from 2009 to 2014, where they pursued a degree in Design de Produto with a focus on Desenho Industrial. Following this, from 2014 to 2017, they continued their education at the same institution, completing a degree in Design Visual.

In 2018, Saimon enrolled at FADERGS for a technologist degree in Design Gráfico, which they completed in 2019. Afterward, they pursued a postgraduate degree in Experiência do Usuário at UniRitter from 2020 to 2021.

Alongside their formal education, Saimon also obtained several certifications. Saimon obtained their EFSET English Certificate in April 2020 with a score of 69 out of 100, indicating a C1 (Advanced) level of proficiency. The institutions from which they obtained these certifications include Udemy, Alura Cursos Online, and IDEO.
