Sebastian Labandera

Sebastian Labandera is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project management and operations within the energy sector. Currently serving as Gerente de Ingeniería and Gerente Operaciones Uruguay at Ventus since December 2017, Sebastian oversees teams responsible for project execution, engineering development, technical proposal preparation, and electrical studies. Prior to this role, Sebastian held positions at Abengoa, including Director de Ingeniería for various projects such as the Acueducto el Zapotillo and Subdirector de Proyecto for a large desalination plant in Oman. Additional experience includes roles at ONFLOW Ingenieria Aplicada, Trane, Compac, and KIOS s.a. Sebastian holds a degree in Ingeniería Industrial from Universidad de Montevideo, completed in 2010.
