Jason Callahan

Jason Callahan has a diverse work experience in the clinical research field. Jason is currently working as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Ventyx Biosciences since March 2022. Prior to that, from April 2021 to March 2022, they served as the Associate Director of Clinical Operations at Biosplice Therapeutics.

Jason has held various roles at Biosplice Therapeutics, including Senior Clinical Project Manager from January 2020 to April 2021, Clinical Project Manager from May 2018 to January 2020, Associate Clinical Project Manager from October 2016 to May 2018, and Senior Clinical Research Associate from September 2014 to October 2016.

Before joining Biosplice Therapeutics, Jason worked at Quintiles as a Clinical Research Associate II from November 2013 to September 2014 and as a Clinical Research Associate I from October 2012 to November 2013. At PRA International, they assisted with Clinical Trial Manager responsibilities, contributed to the creation and maintenance of clinical project documents, and provided assistance with IP accountability and site/data query distribution.

Jason's earlier experience includes working at Quintiles as a Clinical Trials Assistant from January 2011 to August 2011, where they managed multiple therapeutic projects and tracked and managed eCRFs and clinical data flow. Jason also worked at Inspire as a Clinical Research Coordinator from July 2008 to January 2011, where they managed various therapeutic projects and performed CRA tasks. Additionally, they served as a Drug Evaluation Research Intern at Inspire from December 2005 to June 2008, where they conducted in vitro glaucoma assays and analyzed cell migration and proliferation.

Starting their career, Jason worked at Doctors Vision Center as a Certified Paraoptometric Technician from August 2008 to August 2009. In this role, they performed routine eye exams on patients, conducted special testing, and collected patient medical and family history.

Overall, Jason Callahan has a robust background in clinical research, with experience in roles ranging from Clinical Research Coordinator to Associate Director of Clinical Operations.

Jason Callahan attended North Carolina State University from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree. Jason majored in Animal Science and had a minor in Biological Sciences.
