Bill Ross

Propulsion Systems IPT Lead at Venus Aerospace

Bill Ross has over 15 years of work experience in the aerospace and energy industries. Bill started their career in 2006 as an EEDP Engineer at GE Energy. Bill then moved to GE Aviation in 2011, where they held two roles, the first being Lead Combustion Aerothermal Engineer and the second being Advanced Lead Combustion Aerothermal Engineer. In 2016, they joined Blue Origin as a Propulsion Development Engineer. In 2021, they moved to Spaceflight Inc. as Senior Manager, Engineering. Bill is currently employed at Venus Aerospace as a Principal Propulsion Engineer.

Bill Ross obtained a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from Purdue University between 2001 and 2005. Following this, they went on to pursue a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering (MSME) from the Georgia Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2008.
